Qualifications
I have past business experience that would make me a good candidate for this job. For over 25 years I was a self-employed home building contractor, retiring in 2002. During that time I:
- Built over 400 homes
- Worked directly with all sub-contractors
- Worked with countless lending institutions to secure construction loans and end loan financing for home buyers.
- Conducted many negotiations with many cities and counties
- Worked through countless contract negotiations
I was a member of the Home Builder Association of Kansas City for over 25 years. During that time I served as an area Vice-President elected to the Board of Directors for three terms and served as Membership Chairman.
I have been actively involved in the Florence Community Fire Department for the past 4 years.
Morgan County

About the Candidate
My wife Donna, and I have been married for over 22 years and we have one daughter, Megan. We have lived in the Florence community for almost 18 years. I have family ties to this county that date back to the pre-1900s. The Eldenburg and Schroeder families settled around Florence in the 1800s.
